AQUA DOME is the alpine entry in this batch, set in the Ötztal valley where the mountains are the view from the lounger rather than a picture on the wall. The sauna area runs to 2,000 square metres and nine rooms, and unlike most of the big complexes here it publishes a capacity for each one, so you can tell before you go which rooms are the crowd rooms and which are the quiet ones. The rooms, and how many fit The Loft Sauna is the biggest at 75°C for up to 70 guests, with the Gorge Sauna at 85°C for 60 and the Steam Dome at around 45°C, also for 60. Those three are where the operator concentrates its infusions. The quiet end is genuinely small.
