Nuvania

Nuvania is a membership sauna and cold plunge club in Boulder, Colorado: a 15-person hemlock sauna, a 12-person infrared sauna and a floor-sunk group plunge.

Nuvania is the hot and cold club Boulder's runners, climbers and cyclists did not have: a purpose-built space on 33rd Street with a big hemlock sauna, a big infrared sauna and a group cold plunge sunk into the floor, so you step down into the water instead of climbing over a rim. A session alternates heat and cold at your own pace, usually for about an hour, and the house encourages talking without ever requiring it. A recovery lounge with reclining loungers, leg compression and a wall-sized mountain photograph waits at the end.
