Book the Lydia Suite and the sauna is in your bathroom: a glass-fronted room beside a freestanding bath and a shower, one door from the bedroom. The suite takes three floors of the hotel's historic wing and has its own door onto Ülikooli Street, in Tartu's Old Town. We stayed in this suite in August 2026, and the photographs here are ours. What the suite's sauna is like The room is pale timber from floor to ceiling, with two stepped benches, a loose step in front of them and an LED strip under the backrest. A wall-mounted heater sits beside the benches, a rounded wire cage packed with stones, and a wooden bucket waits on the upper bench.
