Breitenbush is a remote forest sanctuary of 154 acres surrounded by national forest, on the largest thermal spring area in the Oregon Cascades. The hot springs have been a gathering place for centuries, and the pools are clothing optional. Day Use gives full access from 9 am to 6 pm: three natural meadow pools lined with smooth river rocks, four spiral tubs from 100 to 110 degrees that end in a cold water dip, and a steam sauna built above a capped geyser. There is no cell service and no guest internet, and the grounds are substance-free, so the day is about water, forest and rest.
