Formation Sauna + Wellness

Formation Sauna + Wellness in Philadelphia: private sauna sessions for one to four, cold shower and cold plunge, a plant-filled lounge, by appointment only.

Formation calls itself Philly's first traditional sauna, a studio on Brown Street at the corner of Oddfellows Alley in a brick and timber loft. A visit is a booked, private session: the sauna is reserved for you and your group for up to 90 minutes, shower and prep time included, with a private toilet and shower, a communal locker room with private changing stalls and a shared lounge. The cold shower and cold plunge sit in that lounge and come with every sauna booking. Massage and bodywork run alongside, and the studio offers packages that pair the two.
