Island Spa & Sauna is a 30,000 square foot modernized Korean day spa on Lincoln Highway in Edison. The house calls itself a new home away from home: leave your stress at the door and the staff take care of the rest. Its saunas sit in igloo-style domes on the main floor, each given an island name and built from a different material, with an ice sauna for the last stop of the day. Gender-separated bathhouses hold the soaking tubs and steam, and Cafe Island serves Korean cuisine and a sushi bar.
