Little Ember runs neighbourhood sauna by the lake: two wood-fired saunas parked at Cedar Lake Point Beach, booked by the seat, with the water a few steps away. The session A booking is a 75-minute session with a seat in one of the two saunas, and a plethora of essential oils to add to the steam. You cycle between heat and a cool-down of your choice — the winter air, a snow angel, icy water over your head, or a dip in Cedar Lake. Public sessions take up to ten guests so everyone has room, and a sauna host is on site throughout to guide first-timers. Ten percent of ticket sales go to Minneapolis Parks.
