The Lost Faucet sits on Cumberland Road just south of Courtenay and has been running as a sauna house since February 2020. The heart of it is a western cedar room with two large stoves and tiered benches — they say it runs 85-90°C, seats twelve or holds four to five lying down, and is built with a deep stove well so you can be generous with the water. Alongside it are an infrared heating room, a wet cool-down area, indoor rest lounges and an outdoor patio. Behind the main building is The Nook, a standalone outdoor sauna they added for people who want the simpler west-coast version: hot, cold, rest, and nobody else around.

Social Sauna reserves in small groups per start time.. Cold plunge: The standard cool-down without it is warm-to-cold rain showers, a wet area, and outdoor buckets of rainwater.. Hours: Social Sauna public hours run Mondays and Wednesdays (1 hr 45 min sessions), Fridays as "Feel Good Friday" with the whole facility and all three saunas open (2 hr sessions), and Sundays as "Slow Motion Sundays" — silent in the saunas, with start times between 1:00 and 4:55. Yoga + Sauna is Thursdays at 10am and select Sundays at 4:30pm. Private sessions are booked separately at times of your choosing. Private Aufguss pricing runs a low season (roughly late May to early September) and a regular season, with weekday and weekend rates.. Booking runs through their own Square storefront, which lists Appointments, Memberships, Private Aufguss split entry and Yoga. Reservations are required for private sessions and recommended for Social Sauna — they schedule the Aufguss around the start times, so arriving on time matters. Drop-ins are welcome at Social Sauna, but they warn you may have to wait if the sauna house is full. Memberships are bought in person on site; gift cards can be sent as e-gift cards.
