Ikaalinen's spa is one of the old names of Finnish spa life, and since 2021 it has been run by local owners as Ikaalinen Spa & Resort. The sauna reason to come is Saunamaailma UTU, opened in summer 2025 around a big heated outdoor pool: a Himalayan salt sauna, a tropical sauna and a Four Seasons Aufguss sauna clad in charred wood, where sauna masters run scented, towel-waved löyly rituals four times an evening at weekends. Room for about eighty bathers, outdoor cold showers in the warmer months, and the resort's well-known shore smoke sauna standing in front of the glass-roofed Lakeside Suites for private bookings.
