In Finland the sauna is a room in the house, not a feature of the spa, and the stays listed here are the ones where that holds. Lakeside villas with a wood-fired sauna at the water and an electric one off the shower room, Helsinki hotels that built a sauna into more than a hundred of their rooms, a rooftop spa above the Tahko slopes, and forest cabins an hour from the capital. Two of them we stayed in ourselves. Every listing names the heat source where the operator publishes it, says who can use the sauna and when, and links to the host's own booking page.
