Jeris Lakeside Resort in Muonio pairs rooms, log cabins and Arctic Sky Nests with Arctic Sauna World: four themed saunas and an ice hole in Jerisjärvi.

Jeris was a cross-country skiing hotel of the Finnish outdoor association before Harriniva took it over, and old wooden skis still hang in the restaurant. The reason to come now is Arctic Sauna World on the lake shore a short walk from the rooms: four saunas named for Finnish gods, each with its own character, a lounge with big windows, and Lake Jerisjärvi in front of them for a swim from the sandy beach in summer or through a fifteen-metre-wide ice hole in winter. Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park begins at the gate and the walk up Keimiötunturi fell starts from the hotel door.
