Lehmonkärki Resort on Lake Päijänne has five shoreline saunas and a warm infinity pool at AISTI Sauna & Spa, with villas, a boutique hotel and mirror houses.

Lehmonkärki sits on its own headland in Päijänne, Finland's second largest lake, and the resort has been in the same family across generations. The sauna story here has a turn in it. The century-old smoke sauna that stood by the water burned to the ground in summer 2024, and in its place the family built AISTI Sauna & Spa, an adults-only outdoor spa with five different saunas, a heated infinity pool and hot tubs looking straight down the lake. The newest room, Sisusauna, is built out over the water on three bench levels, with details that nod to the ancient rock paintings found around Päijänne.
