Urpolan Kartano near Humppila heats seven saunas to order, including a Viking clay-and-log smoke sauna for twenty and a ship sauna, with cabin rooms.

Urpolan Kartano is a Jugend manor from 1924 that the Kylämarkula family opened as a restaurant in 1984 and have run ever since, now in the third generation, on a farm that still works its fields and forest. What draws bathers is the Viking Sauna World in the park, which has been heating saunas for guests since autumn 2002. Its heart is the Viikinkisauna, a real old-style smoke sauna whose walls were laid from foot-long dry log ends mortared with clay dug on the farm; the hole where the clay came from is now the swimming pond. Around it stand six more saunas and a hot tub built like a Viking ship, and you can sleep a hundred yards away in the manor's log cabins.
