The Marchese del Grillo is a historic villa in the hills outside Fabriano, the paper-making town of the Marche, run as a small hotel and gourmet restaurant since 1991. Its newest attraction is the garden spa, laid out as a walk through the elements: fire at the brazier, air on the terrace, water in the heated Finnish tubs, and heat in the panoramic wood saunas, a wood-fired Finnish sauna at around eighty degrees and a gentler Himalayan salt bio sauna at forty.
