More than a hundred of the 182 rooms at Lapland Hotels Bulevardi have a private sauna. The basement saunas are split by gender, so book a room with its own.

Most city hotels keep one sauna in the basement and share it. Bulevardi does that too, but it is better known for the other half: 102 of its 182 rooms were built with a sauna of their own, behind a glass wall off the room's own bathroom. That is the highest count of any hotel in Helsinki, and it is the reason the building needed its own electrical substation. The floor below the lobby has the shared saunas, one for men and one for women, heated every day. We stayed here in September 2026 and used both, and our advice is simple: book one of the sauna rooms. The basement saunas are a fallback. The sauna in the room is the reason to choose this hotel.
