The family who owned this 1950s bungalow in East Austin turned it into a single suite for two adults and gave the backyard over to a private bathhouse: a barrel sauna, two hand-built Japanese-style cedar soaking tubs, one kept hot and one kept cold, a walk-in steam shower in the bathroom, an outdoor shower and a daybed under the trees. The operator lists cold towels, robes and spa slides among the amenities, along with a record player, bikes to borrow and a juicer.
