Ceremony grew out of a South Lamar massage studio into what it calls a social spa, and its bathhouse half is the real thing: traditional cedar saunas paired with cold plunges held below 45 degrees, indoors and out in the courtyard. The instruction on its own page is the whole philosophy: move freely between the saunas and plunges, alternating heat and cold in whatever rhythm feels best for your body. Sessions run long, up to two hours, and unusually for the new wave of bathhouses, walk-ins are welcome when there is space. The circuit The 2024 expansion doubled the bathhouse to two saunas and two plunges, split between the indoor rooms and the courtyard, with a lounge for the time between.
